About National Roofer

National Roofer exists to make one job easier: finding a roofer near you and knowing what they do before you ring. A roofer's own website is often the only place that says whether the firm takes on flat roofs, leadwork or chimney repairs, and reading a dozen of them takes an evening. We read them, tick the services each business names, and put the results on one page for each town.

We also took things out. A search for a roofer turns up consultancies, cleaning firms and pages that sell enquiries on to whoever pays for them. Those are not listed here. What is left is roofing businesses with a public record, reviews and a phone number that reaches them.

We started with Buckinghamshire, where BeClicked Online is based, and will add further counties one at a time. The directory is free to use. It is paid for by featured placements, which are always marked, and a paid placement never changes a rating or a review count.

Every listing starts as a public business record on Google Maps. We keep businesses whose main category is roofing, that have at least one review and whose record has been updated in the last twelve months. Duplicates are merged. Businesses that turn out to be consultancies, cleaning firms or lead-generation pages are taken out.

We then read each business's own website and tick only the services it names itself, such as flat roofing, leadwork or chimney repairs. Insurance, guarantees and trade memberships are shown as the business states them. We do not check them, so ask to see the certificate.
